What it does
Hoq CRM keeps your contacts, the companies they work for, and the deals you are chasing. Each deal sits on a pipeline board. You drag it from Lead to Qualified to Proposal, and the board totals what the pipeline is worth at each stage's odds.
Every call, note, task and text goes on the contact's timeline. Tags, lists and your own custom fields sort people the way your business does. A CSV from another tool comes in without a mapping step: CRM matches loose headings like First Name or given_name, and updates people it already has by email.
Your workspace is one .crm document in your own Hoq Storage. You can take a snapshot at any time, roll back to it, or start a new workspace from it. Answers from Hoq Forms land on the right contact, and a deal can put tasks on your Hoq Todo list that close when the deal is won or lost.

Specifications
| Where your data lives | One .crm document per workspace in the owner's Hoq Storage, in a folder called CRM. |
|---|---|
| Snapshots | A snapshot is its own .crm document in CRM/Snapshots. Restore it as the next version, or fork it into a new workspace. |
| Default pipeline | Lead 10%, Qualified 25%, Proposal 50%, then Won or Lost. Stages and odds can be changed, and you can add pipelines. |
| Custom field types | Text, number, date, select, checkbox and URL. |
| CSV import | Loose header matching with no mapping step; a tags column may hold several tags; existing contacts are updated by email. |
| Price groups | Put contacts and companies in a price group with an end date, and export only the people in one group. |
| Organizations | A workspace can belong to a person or to a Hoq organization. Members read and write; admins restore, fork and change structure. |
| Idle workspaces | A workspace untouched for 72 hours is put away in your drive and opens again on the next visit. |
