Hoq Blend
Recipes, sizes and label words for every product, with every version kept.
What it does
Blend holds what each product you sell is made of. A recipe lists its ingredients by share, and every change becomes a new version with the old one kept beside it. Shares are checked: a recipe well off 100% is refused, and one a hair off is evened out.
A coffee recipe also carries the roast it aims at: roast level, target Agtron, development and drop temperature. A product goes on sale only once it has a recipe and, for coffee, that roast target. Sizes carry net weight, price and UPC. Label words (description, tasting notes, story, origin line, brew guide, claims) keep every earlier wording.
Link a company to Hoq Inventory with a read-only key and each ingredient points at a stocked item, so the recipe shows what is on hand and the editor only offers things you stock. A paired wall screen or tablet becomes a mixing station: pick a recipe and a bag size times a count, and it lists the weights and ticks each one off as it goes in.

Specifications
| Where your products live | One file per company in the owner's Hoq Storage drive. |
|---|---|
| Recipe history | Every version of a recipe is kept with what changed. Label words keep every earlier wording too. |
| Roast target on a coffee recipe | Roast level, target Agtron, development and drop temperature. |
| Shares and money | Shares are stored as whole basis points and prices as whole cents, so totals never drift by rounding. |
| Inventory link | A read-only key issued through Hoq ID. Name matches are only proposed; you confirm each link. |
| Mixing station pairing | A six-digit code shown on the screen, valid for 15 minutes. A paired screen can read recipes and change nothing. |
| AI in the Studio tab | Names, tasting story, label art and songs are made through Hoq Intelligence and billed to the signed-in person. Art and songs are saved in the company drive. |
Features
30 features: 24 shipped, 6 in beta. Listed from the product's feature ledger; each row shows the day it was last checked.
| Products | Keeps each product a business sells, coffee, tea, spice or anything else, with a short code of its own. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Recipes with versions | Writes down what goes into a product and in what share, and keeps every earlier version with what changed. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Shares that add up | Refuses a recipe whose shares are well off 100%, and evens out a recipe that is a hair off. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| The roast it aims at | Records the roast level, target Agtron, development and drop temperature a coffee recipe aims at; tea and spice have none. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| On sale, draft, archived | Puts a product on sale only once it has a recipe and, for coffee, a roast to aim at. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |

| Words on the label | Keeps a product's description, tasting notes, story, origin line, brew guide, claims and art, with every earlier wording. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Import from Shop Manager | Brings house blends, drafts and package types across from Shop Manager, showing what would change first, and leaves catalog roast variants behind unless asked. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Safe to repeat | Running the import again changes nothing, and a blend changed in Shop Manager comes across as a new version. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |

| Ingredients linked to items | Links each ingredient to its inventory item once, after you check the matches Blend finds by name. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Stock on the recipe | Shows each ingredient's inventory item and how much is on hand on the recipe, opening the item in Inventory. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
| Choose from inventory | Makes the recipe editor pick ingredients from the inventory, so a recipe cannot name something you do not stock. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |

| Pair in one tap from a station | A pairing page shown as a tab of a Hoq Station gives the station a Pair link that opens Settings with the code filled in, after sign-in if needed and after picking a company when you run several. | Beta | Checked 2026-10-13 |
| What goes in | Shows each recipe's ingredients and their weights for a bag size times a count, the recipe batch or any weight typed in, with the version it comes from. | Beta | Checked 2026-10-13 |
| Tick off as you add | Ticks each ingredient off as it goes in, keeps the batch fixed while mixing and remembers progress through a reload. | Beta | Checked 2026-10-13 |
| Look only | A screen can read recipes of its own company and nothing else; it changes nothing. | Beta | Checked 2026-10-13 |
| A tab on a Hoq Station | The pairing page and the mixing station can be shown inside a Hoq Station, which stays on the tab while a mix is part done (until ten minutes pass without a tick) and refreshes the recipes when the tab comes back into view. | Beta | Checked 2026-10-13 |

| Names and story | Writes names and a tasting story through Hoq Intelligence, from a prompt you can see and change. | Shipped | Checked 2026-10-10 |
